1964 was the last year for tapered fit drums,1965 was the first year for regular drums.1965 and up C-body rears will fit our cars to get rid of the tapered drums(B-body rears work too,but they are slightly narrower).My friend just installed a '67 Fury rear in his '59 Fury,it was a direct bolt in,didn't even have to change the rear u-joint.For a restored/driver this is not a bad idea.With the hubcaps on no one can see that it's not a tapered rear,parts are easier to find,and the bendix brakes are safer.
