Re: [FWDLK] Riding the Bullet

Shoot, Vancouver is not that far from Seattle, and I know we have several Seattle area members who would've gladly let them paint their car red and white for the film (if they'd paint it back, probably).  Of course, if they'd REALLY been looking hard, they might've found Rogers '59 already red and white convertible, and if I know Roger, he'd have found it really cool to have his car on film. . . . .heck I'd almost (ALMOST) let them paint my '57 Fury red and white for a movie. . .of course, they would DEFINITELY have to paint it back again!!

the question and answer section explains why they could not find a 58 but did find a 60. and they did apologize.

I have been seeing the trailers tonight for Steven King's "Riding the Bullet", featuring a Fury.  The site, http://www.usanetwork.com/movies/ridingthebullet/, talks about "Christine", and the car being a '58 Fury, but show the car to be a 1960, while the "B" car they use for the crash scene shows it to be a 1959 Plymouth.  Are they uncaring, unknowing, or do they think that we cannot distinguish the fact that they are talking and using three different years of Plymouths?

I mean, I certainly am glad they feature ForwardLook cars, but get a grip here.
