I need to correct myself. The cylinder removal I described is how it works
on a Ford. On the Chryslers, the pin you have to push is the actual pin
holding the cylinder into the switch, which usually means you have to remove
the switch from the dash to access the pin. Turning the key from whatever
position it has to be in to remove the cylinder will pop this pin back out.

I've got a gent working on it right now, after breaking off one key,
he has another that turns the lock now, but he discovered that we had
no 'start' position- I have forgotten this from the HS days (late
60's) when I owned a '57 Fury, do all PB cars use the N Button for
start?  And, it seems the door locks are the same blanks as the trunk
and 'love box' ;-)?

Gotta go back out and watch-

PS- I don't see 'the pin' hole like my F*RD ignitions have?


The way ignition cylinders come out, at least every time I've done one, is
by pushing the pin when in the ACC position. The key will then turn even
further to the left and the cylinder will come out.
