Hi Rich,

I too, had considered putting in a underdash A/C unit into my 60 Dodge with
a 383 cid. engine, until it became clear that I would have to change the top
of my rad tank, as the compressor had to go where my upper rad hose went
from the engine into the rad. All the other parts on the unit would bolt up,
just... I did not want to have to pay out again for my rad to be redone as I
had just added a second core to help keep her cool.

Also, if you do add the A/C unit. I recommend triple coring your rad for the
extra cooling capacity.
