[FWDLK] hot wire; '58 Plymouth Silver Special

I hot wired the car and it fired right up after filing the points. I can't believe how nice it runs. The original owner had passed away and the daughter had told me that it hadn't run in about ten years but I think it may have been started sooner than that. The gas was fresh smelling and the brakes were fine after adding some fluid. I put some air in the tires and drove it a few miles. Seems like someone had started up from time to time.

Does anyone know much about these "Silver Specials"? I researched the car and it seems it was a spring option and supposedly sold for $1958, the same as the year. It does have the 318 but no power options. Supposedly, it is rare. It is a low-end 4 dr sedan so I'm sure there isn't much of a demand for these. The data shows that the production figures are unknown.

Thanks to everyone that responded to my hot wire question. Nick Nichols
