I have one of these sitting on a shelf. It is very pitted,but does not look quite like the one pictured. Mine  does not has any ribs or design in it but a slightly curved top, nearly flat. I can make out the part number on the back. This piece came from a junkyard and it was a struggle to get the screws out of the back. There are two hole in the inner panel beneath the trunk button to locate this part on all cars.

Interesting question. This piece is shown on one of the pre-production photos that I have from the Chrysler Design Studio. But it also has the handle scratched out. This piece apparently never made it to production, at least here in the US. I've never seen it in any brochure. Maybe it's a Canadian only option, like the Plymouth script below the trunk lid (near the right tail light).

I hope this works.  I attached a picture of the trunk lift for which I am searching.  Has anybody out there seen one of these things?  It seems rare enough that you see a 58 Plymouth, but in all the pictures I?ve collected, I?ve only seen one or two trunk lift handles.  There is a fellow named Jason in California that owns a Belvedere Club Sedan with one of these on the trunk.  My car has the holes for it, but no lift handle!  If you can help, I sure would appreciate it.
