[FWDLK] Wire Wheels

After some discussion with Sherwood Kahlenburg, I'm going to recant.

As SK points out, ALL Mopars used Motor Wheel (Motor Rim and Wheel Co., Detroit) wheels whether they were long laced as on Plymouth and Dodge or short laced as on DeSoto and Chrysler, or the Imperial wheels with the unique 5.5" bolt pattern and some Plymouth and Dodge wheels were painted argent silver and some chromed.  All DeSoto, Chrysler and Imperial wheels were chromed.

Hudson and Kaiser Fraser also used Motor Wheel wheels.

Ford used Kelsey Hayes yet in every custom and hot rod magazine for all of eternity, they have said and will continue to say that those wire wheels in their photos are "Kelseys" or Kelsey-Hayes.

Hope that helps others as well as myself!

Wayne
