Wow.  The wagon I dreamed about and loved so much has now been butchered up beyond belief.   Remember that movie "Can't Buy Me Love" with Patrick Dempsey being the nerd kid, riding the Lawn-Boy mower, and trying to impress the pretty girl in high school?  the car they picked for nerd-boy was a 1962 Chrysler NewYorker wagon.  In the movie, it was blue with a white roof.

 

That exact wagon is now for sale on eBay. It's even advertised as the movie car.  Except some IDIOT has now butchered it all up with air bags, large wheels, a Ford 9" rear, removed the drivetrain, butchered up the subframe, and totally screwed it up. 

 

Still worth saving...  it's a rust-free Arizona NYker wagon with factory a/c...  and a 9 passenger wagon..

I already have one of these. Do I need two?  Not.   Someone PLEASE rescue it...  check out the license plate they hung on it :  UGLY CAR .  The shame of it.
