Re: [FWDLK] What color should firewall, inner fenders, and radiator support be?

IIRC, unibody cars starting in '60 had body color inner fenders.  Body-on-frame cars ending in '59 had black inner fenders.

I'm quite sure that my Dad's '60 Fireflite Sedan had body color inner fenders/radiator support.

Checked my 57, 58 and 59 Dodge Coronets and 60 Chrysler Windsor,  All three Dodges had black inner fenders and radiator supports.  Firewalls were primary body colors (white, white, and grey).  The Chrysler had firewall, inner fenders and radiator support primary body color.  Looks like from the responses, most Dodges, Desotos and Plymouths had the black inner fenders and radiator support, while Chryslers had the body colors.  But.............

Question:  Do the Desotos which are built on the Dodge chassis (Firesweep) have the black inner fender/radiator supports like the Dodges and the larger wheelbase cars built on the Chrysler chassis body color, or are they all the same?  Did all Desoto models come down the same assembly line (Firesweep, Firedome, Adventurer, etc)?
