The "forums" section of the website has Photo Albums and a Member's Rides section where you can post pictures and see what others are working on.  Check it out -- http://www.forwardlook.net/forums

Subject: [FWDLK] Gas Tank Removal!

Thanks!

Thank you everyone for the info.  We removed all the screws holding the gas door on, plus all the screws within that area.  Then we jacked the car up high.  My husband then went under the car to hold the gas tank and jiggle it as I watched.  Soon after the tank and filler tube came out completely.  After the whole unit came out my husband turned the filler tube left and right and it came off the gas tank.

How would you take the minor dents off the lower half of the gas tank?  Would gas tank straps off a 58 Sedan fit a 57 Hardtop?  Where is everyone on their restoration?  Have any pictures?  We should make our own websites showing off our restorations or better yet www.Forwardlook.net can make a special area for us just send in pictures with captions if he and the rest of us are interested. What do ya'll think?

Thanks,
Kelly
