Dan C, our finest correspondent from Spanaway, accurately points out a 61
D500 Ram Sedan at Barrett-Jackson. Number 332 about 3:00 on
Wednesday. I shall be watching carefully how well it does on the
block.....in fact, I'll be in it driving it for its new owner to peruse.
It is a bit scary for a novice to let some pros sell ones pride and joy at no
reserve but the market will decide what "DodgeDifferent" has as a value in this
over heated market. I've always said my Phoenix is the past century's
version of the Pontiac Aztec but possibly its wackiness is its strength. I
do have time slips from Half Moon Bay drag strip dated Oct 1961 showing a 15.12
et. Not bad for a pure stocker with amateurs driving. Should you
know any rich guys that want a complete Mopar collection instead of just a so-so
collection, point them to the car circus in January.
