Hi, Nick; my car's power steering pump emits a low pitched "groan", when
the engine is cold, & I am going/turning  slowly.

Does your pump actually "growl" ; if it's louder than a low
"owhhhuuuunnnhhh" (howaboutTHAT?) I'd think about getting the pump be
overhauled---I've been told that my car's groan is related to its being
grouchy, about being awakened.....
