A lot of people are asking what solvent I used to cure the shift
problem on my Powerflite so here is more info.
I put only 6 ounces of Berryman's B-12 Chemtool. They used to
include on the instructions that it was okay for transmissions but
they no longer recommend that because people forgot to drain it after
a few hundred miles and there were problems with seals later on. Also
people would put too much in which also caused problems. I used to use
it all the time in transmissions and never drained it and never had
any problems. Anyway, I will drain and refill it next week after I
put a few more miles on the car. Nick.
