[FWDLK] Fwd: [FWDLK] Air cooled tranny in my 55 Dodge Powerflite

I used to 'pop-off' my car's radiator assembly
"often", for cleaning/re-painting purps (back when he was still a
show-car).

Four small bolts, & two hoses, & it's off.

Knowing about how nasty fluid leaks can be , I haven't ever 'personally'
removed the rad, now that it's got two cooler-line connections, to
worry-over.

I recently had to have the original radiator re-cored  and when removing the radiator, was about to take the what I call normal step of disconnecting the cooler lines at the bottom.  As you guys know, no cooler lines.  Made the job easier and cleaner but I just never realized that some early automatics were air cooled like that.
