Hi All,
The June 2007 issue of “Collectible Automobile”
will feature a story about the 1957 cars from Chrysler Corporation. I’m
sure there’ll be some beauties for all of us to enjoy.
They may also reprint a great photograph I own of Virgil
Exner surrounded by the 5 new cars for 1957, if space permits. They are rear
views of the cars, so the variety of 1957 Chrysler Corporation fins can be fully
appreciated. Exner looks like he’d rather be anywhere else than
posing for the picture, but it’s still a great PR shot.
I assume it was released by Chrysler Public Relations,
although there is no stamp on the back to that effect. I bought this
photo on EBay some years ago, and when I offered it to CA for the article, they
jumped at it. Makes me wonder just how rare it is!
