Good to know that a rational article can be written on this subject if the writer is willing to do the research from readily-available sources.  Agree this is the best article on the history of the "merger", the issues Chrysler and the US auto industry faces, and from where a solution may come.  I still do not see Ford, GM or Chrysler being competitive as long as the UAW has them by the throat.

PS:  The recent warm-up and rain has taken the snow cover from last week down from 15" to about 6".  Lawn can't be too far behind.
