[FWDLK] Fwd: Re: [FWDLK] '57 Coronet Found and decoded

In 58 , Dodge DID re-use the 325 Poly V/8 engine, with the 2-bbl
'standard' on the Coro V/8 model.

I'm trying to recall (got the cat , sitting on my lap, so can't get up,
to consult with Mr. Roy)
but believe that the standard Royal V/8 may have been the 325, w/a 4-bbl
. The 350 Wedge 4-bbl was the optional V/8 on the Coro, and on the
Royal.

The D500's were the 361 with either a single, or dual 4-bbl carbs, on
it.

Confusing, huh?

But, W's engine almost certainly has the 2-bbl
325 intake manifold on it.

    Let's review, .... we have a 57 Dodge with a 325 D500 engine / block.
In 57, a D500 could only be a Hemi, correct ? Even if a poly, did Dodge go
strictly to the B-block in 58, making an interchange of manifolds not
possible ? ... or did Dodge keep the poly around on smaller app's and offer
the B-block only as a 350 in D500 guise for 58 ? That's sounds right. By
59, the poly was gone, right ?

    Signed,
    So confused in Spokanistan
