Beyond the solution used to clean the glass, I have observed
that using newspaper does a good job. A car wash I used recently uses it and I
started using it and it does work. Someone posted about the ammonia in the
commercial cleaners turning the glass edges black. There is truth to that. I
had a female cat that started spraying and she hit the same big mirror in a
bath a couple times and it turned a one inch strip black on the mirror around 6
inches long across the bottom.
