Twasn't me, but I did build a 334 poly motor, (3.91 + .100) that was very stout. Janns 12.5, Edelbrock 3 
deuces, ported-pollished heads, 14# flywheel, and experimental camshaft (MOPARized Potvin "Eliminator"). 
In my 58 Fury, which was know as the "Vette Killer" by my friends. It was awesome, but it broke things like 
running gear (trannys, clutches, u-joints) and con rod, a real expensive toy for a 20 year old.
