Turned 57, today, which hapened to be my favorite year, of the last
century (or of this one)

I was so upset when 1957 ended, that I held a grudge against 1958, all
year, and was glad when IT ended.

Enjoyed 1959 , though, and was shocked, shocked, to realize, in 1969,
that 1959 had occurred TEN years earlier! It seemed to have been so
recent, in my memory.

One more thing, not really on-topic (hey, it's my Birthday, humor me):

I'm (re-) reading the 9/61 Motor Life (the one with the review of the
1961 Dodge "Powerhouse Packages" in it) .

In it, several times, the impending new Furd car model, the "Cardinal"
(????) is mentioned, several times.

One mention states that the car is being seen, on the Furd Dearborn test
track, and another mentions that it might be front wheel drive.

I do not ever recall hearing the name "Cardinal" associated with a
Fart-product; was its name changed, to become the Mustywang?

BTW, we-all should know that the trade name
Falcon belonged to Chrysler (hence, the Falcon 2-seater Show car) but
that CHRY sold (for a very nominal amount the name "Falcon" to Fart
around 1959).

I mention this, because the Mustwang was brought-out with its new body
sitting on a mundane Falcon suspension (so, if the Musty-one was a
re-named "Cardinal", I wonder what had become of the front-wheel drive
platform, that the Cardinal was supposed to have, under it.

We now return you to our regularly scheduled
conversation.........
