Re: [FWDLK] Pumping power.

Neil, try your local parts stores, if you still have one that has a "shop" with it, like your old time parts stores. You never know what's right under your feet.

Remember I hunted in Hemmings for a couple years for a 57 back in the early 80's, and found one just minutes away!!!

Subject: [FWDLK] Pumping power.

Still need any references that anyone can offer, regarding good/cheap
power steering pump rebuilders and/or availability of rebuilding kits.

If I gotta send-out a pump, for rebuilding, I'd rather send out a pump
that REALLY needs rebuilding (as in: wrecking-yard/your-lying- around
piece) , & keep my car's pumpster installed, til the rebuilt-guy
arrives, so, I'll have no down-time (life being short) or heartbreaks,
regarding the rebuilding-process.

My pump reportedly just has a leaking   "front seal" .

It services the 3" fluid-resevoir with the  3"
diameter removable lid.

Thanx!
