Charles, to answer your question, imho, the car, as-is, assuming that it
does run and stop 'good': $5,000.00 .

A hobby is a hobby; this car appears to represent  a nice  platform,
upon which you can spend as much time and expense as  you care
to expend, over the course of several/many years, to make,  or to
create, it the way that you want it to be: full OEM resto, resto-rod, or
full hot-rod .

Anyone care to evaluate this Coronet on eBay.  It ran twice with no bids.  A little pricey? ($6995), or something not quite right (like the interior)?    

 

1959 Dodge Coronet - 318-2bbl Excellent driver! New interior! Factory swivel driver's seat! New brakes all around! New alternator! Solid floors and panels! Needs a little TLC. Could be real show-stopper but now is a daily driver. Rear fins taller than the old Cadillacs. A real malt-shop head turner!

What would be fair for a driver like this?
