Re: [FWDLK] L-FORWARDLOOK Digest - 1 Jan 2008 to 2 Jan 2008 (#2008-3)

the ebay fury does have a dodge poly... wrong, but a direct swap -at the time i'm sure simply as a replacement engine, however- it does have the silver grill V [which even some AACA meet furys don't] along with everything else that points to a genuine fury, sans 150 speedo-  the only way to know for sure is upon disassembly, check for additional burrs indicating if the lockwashers on the 2 screws holding the speedo mech into the rear cluster housing were ever in more than one position, and if the paper gasket is broken/missing at same spot, indicating a possible swap, it is pretty toght trying to change a speedo, or fuel gauge, in-car, has been done, but in the world of fix-replacement, probably would have incurred some damage along the way- so if ron saw a few slip out of the factory with 120's, this is either 1 of them or the 4th.

i dont really watch them on ebay, but what is the realistic [not 80s] value of a 56 windsor these days? 2drht, complete, no rust issues?
