While I don't claim to have kept track of all of the early ID systems, I do have quite a few. This exact number does not show up on my lists but I did find a M806. The usual truck numbers are more like m8-d6 or m8-d8. If the m8 series is consistant then the m801 should be a 1959 truck (1.½T - 2t - 2.½t) but could be either a 315 or a 354. Better ask for a pic or a casting number. Gary
