Re: [FWDLK] Junkyard Closing Sale

I have found out through going to more than one of this type auction:  if there are cars there that nobody has heard of, they will get no bids.  BUY THEM!!!  Once you have it home research the internet as there is always someone out there wanting that very car!  I bought at auction a 1960 Prince (ever heard of that make? neither had I!)  Turns out Prince was the predecessor to Nissan and one of the very first Japanese imports to the US.  My $150 turned quickly into $2000 for this little 4 door sedan that was in poor condition, and if I'd been smarter it could've been more!

The MoonEyes (fog lights) company is Japanese and that's what they offered me for it.  They paid a friend of mine another $2K to drive it to LA, then they shipped it to Tokyo for restoration . . . where I guess it's now a showpiece!  It was one of the very first left hand drive Japanese cars produced - in Japan they drive on the wrong side and are VERY aggressive with destroying older cars - so there really are none to find there!

Sorry, guys, apparently the notice of sale link got stripped off my first message about this sale.  I hope it works this time!
