I noticed your tag line and I thought this replacement Lucas smoke might be a suitable replacement for CPU smoke, perhaps not as smart but it might get you to a repair shop.

according to my Carter catalog, each application had it's own carb ID number,
might have been the same functionality as another but unique ID numbers.

CPUs run on smoke. I know this because when the smoke comes out, it stops working.
