Re: [FWDLK] Keith Huber dies

Dan,
Thank you so much for your note.  Please send me the web-site for '59 Plymouths.  I am currently in Illinois, but heading back to Mississippi to set up a Memorial Service there.  I hope you had the chance to visit the website at www.stackhouseMoore.com to read a little about Keith.  I know it seems odd that I don't call him Dad, but we have a good size company in Mississippi and calling him Keith was more appropriate.  I was the one who wrote the note you attached and was with him in Tulsa.  We were pretty much inseparable and worked on the cars together.  Brakes to electrical to engines, etc.  We did them together.
Thank you again for your note.  I look forward to seeing your website.

Suzi

Suzanne,

I am so sorry to hear about the untimely death of your father.

He and I spoke by phone -- once -- and I shared with him the details of my website, which is exclusively for '59 Plymouths.  He had intended to send pictures and join, but never was able to get around to it.  Still, in speaking with him, he seemed like a very personable and likeable fellow.

I am sorry sorry that you had to lose him like this.  My condolences to your family, and especially your mom.

I include, below, a note your mother sent from happier days...

    Sincerely
    Dan Morton

Hello everyone.  Keith and I have just left Gulfport MS with one of our 57 Belvederes (the Red one - tag HUBER) in tow, a black Escalade with a big black trailer.  We will be arriving Tuesday night and leaving Monday morning.  We are staying at the Double Tree and can hardly wait to see everyone.
We visited Tulsa in December of 05, and finally the big day is almost here!

Some of you meet Keith and I in Tulsa last year and possibly read the article in "Old Cars Weekly" in the special Buried Car issue July 07.  Keith (Dad) had a passion for 57 Plymouths (he had seven '57 Plymouths, one '58 Plymouth, one '59 Sports Fury, and one '56 Desoto Fireflite) which is why he enjoyed the "Forwardlook" family.

Keith died in a tractor accident on May 29, 2008 on our family farm in Illinois.  Another one of his passions was to restore the farm to the 1943-1951 era, which is when he lived on the farm.  On the farm Keith had 4 Allis Chalmers Tractors, one '51 International Pick-up and one '51 Chevy Pick-up as that was what use to be on the farm.

Please visit www.stackhousemoore.com to view the obituary, photo and floral memorial videos.  I would love to hear from anyone that had talked with Dad and remind those that he had spoke to about "Crusin' the Coast" www.cruisinthecoast.com held in October on the Gulf Coast in Mississippi.

Thank you for the wonderful times that you gave my dad and I talking about and working on Plymouths.
