Just got back from the gas station 53.03 for 13.12 gallons luckly I only have to fill that car (01 PT Cruiser) once every 3 weeks because I modified my driving habits. I know that the cost of filling up my New Yorker will be well over 100.00 due to the need for high octane. Plus I use additives to boost the octane and add the all important lead substute. The stuff is called BND TK7SCF. It was expensive but it did add 10% to my milage and I can feel the added power.

There is a station here where the pumps didn't really pump out a full
gallon when the meter and price said it did, so the calculation would
work, but you got less fuel. So in that case, you'd have to measure the
fuel too.
