[FWDLK] Book: "Chrysler Engines 1922-1998"

I just recently acquired the subject book as a gift. Apparently it was published last year, if not late in 2006. Mine was purchased via the Society of Automotive Engineers bookstore (product code R-365). SAE members are eligible for a 20% discount.

I just want to say, "Wow!" A book written by an engineer, for engineers (degreed or not) to enjoy. It is fascinating to read about the historical development of these engines. Thus far I've read through the L-head 4- and 6- cylinder (the latter, FL content) chapters, getting ready to embark on the L-head inline 8-cylinder chapter. Of course there is coverage on the Hemis, Polys, and Wedgies (had to make it rhyme).

It is not a cheap book, but seems like an excellent investment for yester-year Chrysler product enthusiasts!
