Re: [FWDLK] removing front sway bar

Scott, if you are referring to the bracket on the lower control arm,
you may have to use a small cutting disc, to create a separation of the
bottom corner of the bracket, in order to bend the bracket, to remove
the bushing from the bracket .

After inserting the new bushing thru the sway bar, you can stitch weld
the bracket , back together, around the bushing.

Hi All,

I'm trying to remove the front sway bar on my 58 Fireflite.  I'm having trouble on the driver's side where it connects with the bracket.  Is there a trick to separating it from the bracket?  It doesn't look like it needs a special tool, does it?  Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks!
