I'm not sure exactly how it is used on the Savoy, but surely you don't want to be caught on a road trip without a couple extra oxygen sensors to go along with your spare blinker fluid.

Actually, I think the oxygen sensor indicates whether or not it is safe to inhale the engine exhaust.  Too much oxygen indicates that it is unsafe to inhale Savoy exhaust.
