Re: [FWDLK] Classic industries big book

Yes, it is great.  Just got some parts from Year One for my musclecar-era '66 Plymouth.  No end of parts for my '56 Brand-F's either.

With scrap prices high, every day I see huge loads of old cars going to the shredder.  All-American, a local 20 acre classic yard, has crushed all its MoPars.  My favorite all MoPar yard, Wildcat, has crushed a couple hundred cars, mostly '70's.

If you need forward look parts, particularly body parts, get them now because it doesn't look like there'll be a tomorrow.

There are similar 900 page catalogs for my 70 Olds Cutlass. The problem is, a lot of the repro stuff turns out to be cheap junk.

I just got in the mail a huge 900 + page catalog from "classic industries" for the full size Chevrolet cars 1958/1996.....

Man how this would change our world if they had a 900 page book for "forward look" Mopars 1955/1961!!!!
One could just order up emblems and sheet metal, or door inserts and steering wheels and horn rings or intakes and carbs "oh my" !!! on and on it would go.....
Would that make our cars less of what they are to us??

For me a great deal of the allure is getting the parts I need and renewing them or finding someone to renew them for me at a price I can afford....
However would it not be nice to hit up one web site or catalog and order that bezel that one needed or piece of trim that would finish the car!

This would be something a kin to Gary Goers but on steroids and in the 21st century!!!
Anyone have a lot of capital and a talent for this sort of work want to partner up???
Speaking of Gary I envision his shop like a kid envisions Santa's shop! I would buy a ticket just to see it.....
