Not only did Chrysler not have their own alternator in 1958 (they did offer
Leece-Neville alternators before 1960 with mechanical rectifiers) but
Chrysler did not build a 354 hemi in 1958. The only hemi was the
Chrysler/Imperial 392. The 354 came only as a poly for the Chrysler Windsor
and Saratoga (plus the Canadian Custom Royal and Firedome).
Also, he quotes info from the data tag with "St.Louis" on the top line.
Only problem is, the St.Louis plant did not open until the Spring of 1959.
1958 Dodges were built at Hamtramck, Newark and LosAngeles in the U.S.
