Re: [FWDLK] Can anyone ID this carb?

that WCFB appears to have the "teapot base" used on ford products.  the lincoln 368 engine in 56/7 uses a WCFB with air divorced choke and external pod vacuum secondaries--- i have them on 3 of my 57 linclons.  all the small internals will interchange with the WCFBs i have on my furys, but very little otherwise.
the base will be the giveaway. the plym/mopar wc's use the smaller carter pattern of the std afb base.
my 56 chrysler had a similar external pod for the secondaries as well.  numbers will be the key. some ford WCFBs and 55-56 packard engines used the teapot base with an external power valve situated on the front of the carb. i used a packard spec wcfb on my 57 turnpike cruiser- which uses the same 368 linc engine i mentioned earlier.

some other cars used teh wcfb... i think the dual quad pontiacs had them, corvettes used a single wcfb -or- gm 4-jet depending on the year.

i think the reign of the WCFB ended in 59 on a studebaker... 58 for chrysler corp, and 57 for fomoco and packard with the demise of the packard 352 V8

Did Mopar models have those "side" mounted chokes?

New to me if so.
