Re: [FWDLK] 57-9 Power Window Conduit and Holes

Folks:

The 56 Plymouth also has the dimples for drilling holes for the rubber conduit.  As for the hole size, I got a pair of rubber conduits from Gary Goers and then measured their diameter. Next, I got rubber gormmets with an ID of the same size as the OD of the conduits for the post.  I then measured the OD of the grommets and used that for the hole size in the post.  Please don't ask me the size of all these holes, since I don't remember.  The hole size for the door is easy since it will be the OD of the conduit.

The reason for the rubber grommets in the post is that the sheet metal is thin with sharp edges and I was afraid that the rubber conduit would be worn thru and fall apart.  I have yet to install the wiring for the power windows.  When I'm done, I doubt that anyone will know the difference.
