good suggestions. the turnout this year was pretty good, but not as good as last year... the GFS had a turnout of about 1/2 or less than last year, so much so we didnt have our usual dinner/party at ron swartley's this year. i'm sure its a result of the poor economy and perhaps another western show i heard rumors of, that one of our members was attending instead of carlisle this year. i was surprised to see of of our member's 58 fury with a set of my inserts, purchased re-sale at over double my price.... funny how that happens sometime..... the GFS usually stayed at the laquinta in steelton, this year most of us stayed at the red roof, which was ok, but not great. perhaps we should get a good advanced poll of all GFS'ers, FWDLK'ers, and Christiners and try to occupy 1 whole motel/hotel. if we guarantee full or close to full occupancy a good 9 months in advance, i'm sure the establishment will respond with a nice rate, and we wont have to worry about "regular" cars infiltrating our lineup outside [aka damages] so start planning everyone... next year is july 9-11th i assume. the forwardlook vending spot is a pretty good idea too. notice how the swap meet was more of a "parts show" than vending...???? with the prices some people ask its obvious they have no intentions of selling! i still say ebay denotes prices- when the whole world sees something and bidding gets to say $75.... thats all its worth! not 6,432.76 that some evndors expect! i hadnt seen more overpriced 2x4 poly intakes and sonoram setups as i did this year... even 1 devastated ovel air cleaner with an emissions fitting and a dodge emblem drill into it... if you missed it, it will be back next year, and the year after.... until numbers become realistic! -----Original Message----- From: Dave Stragand <dave.stragand@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: L-FORWARDLOOK@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Tue, Jul 14, 2009 11:17 am Subject: [FWDLK] Chryslers at Carlisle (All Chrysler Nationals) Feedback Hi All,

Those have been a few of the suggestions. Please feel free to make other suggestions as well. In any event, I would really appreciate getting some feedback on these and other items. Let me know what you'd most like to see, and we'll do our best to get everything rolling for Carlisle 2010.
