Can anyone help me out with a set of power window
lifts I ended up with several years ago. The front lifts have a mopar part
number of 1642424-23. I cannon find a part number on the rear lifts.
They appear to be quarter window lifts and have HUPPOWER
DETROIT stamped on them. When I got these
they were supposed to be for a 55-56 Desoto or Chrysler 2 Door. They don't
mount up the same way as the power windows do in my 56 Adventurer. They
don't have the same numbers as lifts designated for a Plymouth or
Dodge. Somewhere, I remember reading that Hupp might have built power
window lifts for Chrysler.
Also, if anyone have a power window set up for a 56
2-door Desoto or Chrysler for sale, please let me know.
