Re: [FWDLK] Starter

Sorry I can't help you with your question but it did remind me that my starter needs a rebuild as well. Does anyone know of a good shop to rebuild in the Northen IL area?
Thanks,
Matt

Hi,

Thanks for the responses so far.  The original 6 volt starter has been running off from 12 volts for years.  I was just wondering if the '57 Plymouth starter would fit in a '55 Plymouth with a 241.  Mine is in need of a rebuild.

Thanks,

John
