[FWDLK] Carburetor Rebuilding - Who's Doing It?

if people out there need 1 and 2 bbl kits- take a look- i had this whole lot on ebay with no bites....  kanter is getting ridiculous prices for gasket kits and rebuild kits...
my opinion is a rebuild kit is only worth about $10.... here you can get 50 or more- at about a dollar a piece- i'm not going through them- but theres alot- stuff from as early as the 20s up to early 60s.... stromberg, carter, rochester, ball and ball.. stuff like that

i'll say $50 takes them all plus shipping- or shoot me an offer- i dont own anything with 1bbls... and a few with 2bbls wont have them for long till upgraded or the engines get added to the "just for show' section  i have so many carbs i dont need hard parts and i make most of my gaskets on location anyway for carbs like afb, avs, wcfb's, and motorcraft 2/4bbls... and holleys have improved gaskets avail everywhere

I totally agree with Wayne.  The BBS is as easy as they come.  Actually, either with or without a rebuild kit, lots of "Carburetor repairs" simply involve a basic cleaning and adjustment.  Just lay the parts out in the order you remove them, don't tear the gaskets, etc.  DON'T FORCE ANYTHING!

So why aren't you looking for a kit and doing it yourself?   A super simple carburetor.  A father-son project.  And I expect our member John Lazenby ( john@xxxxxxxxx) whose company specialty has been carburetor kits for like eternity will have a kit for you.
