Re: [FWDLK] Just for fun

Let's see now, pink and black was a popular color combo about 1957 and assuming she was in her impressionable teens - say 17, that could have been her "dream car color" and now she would be about 70 and able to afford it and make her wishes come true! Yea for the old gal!

I had thought they were offering that color now, some of the old muscle car colors? Like the Lime green, Plum Crazy, etc.

This is not 300 information but interesting.   I took my Ram pickup in to the local Dodge dealer  ( always wear my 300 shirt)  for some maintenance.   Parked in front of the service dept was a new 2010 Dodge Challenger SRT8  6.1 Hemi   and loaded with all options and was  Painted Pink with Pink inserts in the seats and door panels.  Needless to say I was shocked at the whole pink ensemble.  I asked the service man about the pink color and trim.  I couldn't believe it was a factory color.  He informed me and the rest of the crowed that was forming that a middle aged women bought the Challenger. It was Black but she wanted it painted Pink and the upholstery changed to match.  My comment to him was she single and rich.  he said yes and that she made enough money to buy one every month.  I bet we will see in in some MOPAR Magazines later this year.  I found out that night that a friend of mine was the one who painted the Car. He said it was really a lot of work to put Pink over Black.
