Re: [FWDLK] NOS WCFB carb

Folks:

That square aluminum base is also on the 56 Fury, Chrysler and DeSoto hand choked WCFB's.  I have a set of each.  I think they are factory race carbs.

is that an aluminum base????  oh i just realized.... that's a teapot base patter WCFB application- fits 331 hemi, 55 desoto 291, and all ford apps to 1957.. maybe early dodge red ram too- with the small square pattern, also fits a 56 packard [as i have an NOS 56 packard carb on my 57 linc]. that one wouldnt fit a fury intake...  mopar 56-58 WCFBS have an iron base, as on your fury.

Allegedly, this was a NOS WCFB carb on Ebay a few years ago. I don’t know much else about it.
AFBs may have been different.

Ron,

I don't ever recall seeing a "bronze" colored factory carb before.
