I've only known of one '57-58 DeSoto being documented to have had the HD T-bars out of the factory as an option.  It was a '57 Adventurer convertible that was a special order.    Even Adventurers came with standard Firedome/ Fireflight T-bars.   So HIGHLY unlikely your car had them.   Scrape or wire brush the rear end of the bars after temporarily removing the retaining wire clips, and see what last-three digits you find.
 
I have a pair of 300C torsion bars out and ready to send to start this project.   We need LOTS of interest and a supplier to create new ones.
