Re: [FWDLK] TORQUEFLITE OPERATION QUESTION

All my old trannys take a few minutes to get everything circulated and any varnish warm up as well. I let things warm up for a few minutes whenever the car has sat for a long time or it is cold outside. I also run through the gears a few times before getting under way.

HELLO MEMBERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Does this happen to anyone????????????
ANY IDEAS????????????

My cast iron TF runs fine..........
BUT--In vey cold weather,,,,or when its been sitting for a month,,the first time it goes for the 1st-2nd shift,,,,it holds first for QUITE a while, even at light throttle.
The next 1st 2nd shift is sooner
By the 3rd time,,its a normal progression of 1st-2nd

My own thought is a poorly lubricated governor weight or valve?????????? which is somewhat sticking' ???
