    I used Nylaic on the fiberglass heater box under the hood because it is heat resistant.  I didn't see a reason to use it on exterior aluminum.  After cleaning up the heater box, it was rough, and Nylaic did a nice job on making it look nice.

I use it on any metal part that I don't want to paint, but don't want corrosion either.

HELLO MEMBERS...................

In order to somewhat protect the surface of a 'cleaned up' aluminum
part---would painting it with clearcoat be a good idea???
