After having the clock rebuilt on my 58 Plymouth, I installed a small roll 
switch like the kind you find on a lamp cord, on the wire leading up to the 
clock. When I show the car, I reach under the dash and turn the switch.Clock 
was rebuilt about 20 years ago. Still works great. No quartz conversion for 
me. Tick tick tick...
