Neil, the one @ the WPC Meet we were at (Detroit or Kalamazoo), was that a Chrysler owned car?

don't know where i heard it, but including Leno's... there are 3 surviving intact turbine cars-  one was actually brought to englishtown NJ one year for an exhibition run...

So here goes....

In today's Sunday  newspaper's "Parade" rotogravure supplement,
there is a puff piece on J. Leno and his lifestyle.

Anyway, he's shown posing with his '63 Turbine car, at his museum/warehouse.

Nice photo.

So, I can't recall how/where he acquired that car, and whether he had
to buy it sans-engine, which was purchased separately (and from where
were the body & engine obtained)?

IIRC, there is a second Turbine car in private hands---that's the one
that was featured in that other puff-piece, on a My Classic Cur episode.

I know that these questions were previously discussed, here.

I promise I'll remember your information, this time.
