Yea verily unto you who didn't go to Carlisle, you missed a very hot time at a very large event.
But then it was such a hot time that even a lot of the locals who would have visited rather then take a car to be part of the car show were abbycent. That Didn't stop the venders from making it and setting up in the hopes that they would sell a lot of stuff. But the dratted Heat was a real party pooper, I did say it was HOT! There was plenty of water to drink if you made to the ForwardLook tent, and some shade to find respite in. And for those that could partake, Salty nibbles to aid in water retention. A Needed item for sure. Saturday was interesting. a breeze and 101F temps. At least 3 folks somewhere on the fairgrounds needed aid, the heat was oppressive. But as I understand it, there were deals being made out in the swaps, as long as the needed part wasn't out in the direct sun making it too hot to pick up :-) 2 57 300-C's in Indy
