Re: [FWDLK] Non FL question about Mopar "Body In White"

Adam, a friend of mine who's knowledgeable on copcars, said this.....

I?m not sure on the body in white. Special order and special handling probably meant close to the same thing. It is an odd one.

Subject: [FWDLK] Non FL question about Mopar "Body In White"

I just looked at a Dodge Royal Monaco Police Package car for sale and the car has 2 trim tags, one is the common paint code/option tag with the vin and the second reads "BODY IN WHITE" and the 2nd line reads "SPECIAL ORDER CAR". I've heard of Bodies in white for race cars, usually gutted shells sold to Pro Stock or Nascar racers, but a 4 Door C-body Police car? My last big 70's Police Package Mopar had a "SPECIAL HANDLING CAR" tag, that made sense, this car is odd, any input on this?
