[FWDLK] Carlisle All-Chrysler Nationals, 2013

The Forward Look Network will have our usual large club tent on the Carlisle Chrysler Nationals Fun Field again this year. The schedule will be tweaked a bit from our normal sequence of events, to accommodate the interest in the Christine 30th anniversary activities, and also to make it a bit less stressing on me. I haven't been able to walk around for a few years now due to being tied up with the tent and the drive-in stuff (no drive-in this year, sorry!)

The club tent is a great hangout and relaxation place after walking the swap meet or show field. As usual, we will have refreshments, snacks, and first aid supplies like sunscreen. (It always helps if folks bring folding chairs though!) We always welcome all other FL-related clubs to share our tent, as we all have common interests. Look for the banners and the “Flookerang Pennants” ringing the tent.

I will have some T-Shirts available at the tent -- last year they were a big hit, and we sold close to 100. I believe the price will stay the same at $10 for S-M-L-XL and $13 for larger sizes. All designs of the T-Shirts are always available online at http://www.forwardlook.net/sitestore/gifts

Thursday Evening:
Join up with other ForwardLookers at the MoPar Rebellion Car Club Car Cruise, hosted by MoPar Rebellion and held at CVM Dodge. This Kick-Off features raffles, door prizes, inexpensive food, music, great Mopars and more. It’s free for participants and spectators and it’s a great opportunity to socialize with your friends in a relaxed atmosphere. Friday, noonish:
Bill Gibson is trying to arrange a meet-and-greet lunch with the cast of Christine at the FL tent. We may move our big Saturday chicken dinner to be a big Friday chicken lunch. Otherwise, we may have the chicken feast on Saturday at lunch.

Friday, 5:30ish:
We're considering another pizza dinner on Friday night at the tent. Please reply and let me know your interest.

Friday, evening:
The theater in Carlisle will be hosting a special showing of Christine. Ed B is looking for a few Forward Look era vehicles to park outside the theater.

Saturday, lunch:
A Saturday lunch is a possibility, we're still working out all of the details. Please let me know if you're interested.

Saturday, evening:
How many folks would be interested in attending the MoPar Hall of Fame induction dinner? Price includes dinner at around $50. (There's a good reason to go, Forward-Look wise, but I am not at liberty to divulge it yet.)
