Re: [FWDLK] transmission cable leak

I used a heavy duty shrink tube from 3M on the lower 8" or so on my Torqueflite. 13 years now and still no leaks. Dick

Is there a quick fix for a PowerFlite cable leak at the transmission?  Was thinking maybe peel back the cover, coat the housing with silicone, replace the cover and clamp it.  Or should I just bite the bullet and replace the cable?
